Less Cooking, More Training

March 06, 2019 - Dinner does not have to be time-consuming! After a long day of working, training, or family obligations the last thing most people want to do is go home and make an ordeal out of dinner. So what’s next? Do you find yourself arguing with your significant other about where to eat? Do you go to the nearest restaurant with your family of four where the wait is a minimum 15 minutes long? None of these are great solutions.


 Dinner does not have to be time-consuming! After a long day of working, training, or family obligations the last thing most people want to do is go home and make an ordeal out of dinner. So what’s next? Do you find yourself arguing with your significant other about where to eat? Do you go to the nearest restaurant with your family of four where the wait is a minimum 15 minutes long? None of these are great solutions.


Beyond the time you may waste eating away from home, eating out costs more and several research studies have shown that frequent meals out of the home are associated with lower micronutrient intake and higher energy intake beyond what is needed to refuel.1 At home, you have a say in what you fuel your body with, you have more awareness of what is entering your mouth, and you determine your portion size.


This week we are bringing you meals that can be made to eat in less than 30 minutes, some even cook themselves!
