2019 EXTENDED Camp

The Extended Camp will be limited to a maximum of TWELVE athletes. This will allow us to bring a very personal atmosphere to the first three days of the Extended Camp with a lot of face-time with the coaches and a great deal of attention to technique. Athletes will arrive in Clermont, FL on January, 27th for our Welcome Dinner that evening. Athletes will depart a week later on Sunday, February 3rd.

Who is the extended camp for?
-The extended camp is for ALL triathletes. The athlete to staff ratio will be kept at no more than 3 to 1, so all athletes will be receiving a great deal of individual attention.
-The extended camp is recommended to athletes that really want individual coaching on swimming, biking, and running technique.
-The training load, seminar choices, etc will all cater specifically to the level of athlete in attendance.

What is included in the extended camp?
-The extended camp will include TWO meals and a SIXTY minute massage from our professional massage therapist. Our massage therapist will be on hand all week and additional appointments can be booked in 30min increments.
-Welcome Swag Bag: Historically this has included some awesome gifts from all of our partners. But in 2019, we will have some great swag from AJ Baucco Coaching as well!
-Athletes will receive a complimentary safety inspection from our professional bike mechanic. Our mechanic will lube the chain, check your brakes, adjust the shifting, headset, and bars (if needed). In-depth bike mechanical work and parts will be offered at a DEEPLY discounted rate during the camp. Outside of the complimentary safety inspection, appointments will need to be made with our mechanic and he will come to you!
-We will do TWO swims per day on Monday and Tuesday at the National Training Center. The afternoon swims will be 100% focused on technique and drills. We will have coaches on deck or in the water helping athletes with their form.
-All bike workouts will be SAG'ed with a professional mechanic on hand and all sports drink will be provided by Infinit Nutrition.
-The extended camp will conclude with the end of camp celebration (beer included). This is where we will give away all of the prizes and awards. In the past, we have given away ENVE Wheelsets, Normatec Recovery Boots, Huub Wetsuits, Stages Powermeters, and A LOT more. We give away prizes worth so much that you can actually MAKE MONEY DOING OUR CAMP!!!
-Cycling will take place on the amazing hills of Clermont; including Sugarloaf Mountain and the legendary Winter Garden Coffee Ride
-Running will take place on the lakefront trails through Clermont and the on famed "Clay Trails" of Clermont.
-Swimming will take place in the recently renovated pool at the National Training Center. We will also incorporate coached open water swims at a measured and buoyed open water swim course.
-Clinics and Seminars will be led by our team of coaches, along with guest experts. Clinics / Seminars given at previous camps have included: Fueling for Race Day, How to Race and Train with (bike) Power, Mental Fitness Techniques, Open Water Swim Technique, Healthy Eating for the Endurance Athletes, How to Improve Transitions, Recovery Techniques, Swim Stroke Analysis and more.
-If possible, we will include product demos from our partners.

Refunds and Fees
*Camp refunds will be issued on a case-by-case basis up until registration closes. No refunds will be offered after registration closes. Even though we don't expect this to be an issue, we must have a minimum of 8 registrants for the extended camp. If we do not have 8 registrants by the end of the registration period, we will refund the difference between the extended camp and weekend camp.
**All registrations and rentals include any applicable sales tax, but are subject to a 3% processing fee.

What are you responsible for?

We are going to do a lot of things for you, but you still have a few responsibilities... we're all adults, right? You are responsible for getting to Clermont by January 27th for the Extended Camp. You are responsible for having swim, bike, and run gear ready for camp before camp begins (bring wetsuits). You are responsible for having a place to sleep during camp, and a way of getting to camp activities. Most importantly, you are responsible for having a GREAT time and gaining some big time skills and fitness!!

-Athletes will be responsible for transportation to Clermont with their training equipment. If flying, the Orlando International Airport is the preferred airport and is approximately a 30-40 minute drive to Clermont.
-We have secured an exclusive rental car discount for this camp through Budget. Our Budget Customer Discount (BCD) code is U020319. If you need assistance with making your rental car reservation, please contact Kelli Frusher at (800) 525-7537 ext 31961.
-We encourage athletes to coordinate and share rental vehicles. At our request, minivans are eligible for this discount and could be very economical and excellent for sharing.
